To this day, he expresses profound gratitude to his mother, as her decision to enroll him and his brother in MMA was transformative, steering them away from the destructive paths that lay ahead.
Edwards recognizes this choice’s immense impact on his life and continues to honor and appreciate his mother’s foresight and support.
His Brother Fabian Edwards is also a professional mixed martial artist.
Their mother was pivotal in pushing Leon Edwards, aged 31, and his younger brother, Fabian Edwards, toward the world of MMA.
